CASE® Sources Get More Transparent

The CASE Network is a repository for skills, standards, and competencies published by issuing agencies and sourced from many places both nationally and internationally:

  • Now CASE Network makes those sources more visible on each tile of the map view and enables unregistered visitors to more easily find and access the freely, open CASE® data.

  • On many tiles, Common Good Learning Tools is listed as the CASE publisher which means that we serve on the behalf of the issuing agencies who authored the frameworks until they are ready to host, maintain, and CASE publish on their own.

    • We hope that this clear labeling helps to better demonstrate both our commitment to empowering more issuing agencies by giving them a head start on converting their documents into CASE® and the scope of work funded by the annual registration fee incurred by edtech suppliers.

Registered CASE Network users benefit from the ability to use Satchel, generate framework update reports, opt-in to notifications, access to the API, a sanitized version of the JSON/API, a Best Practices Report (coming soon), 1:1 CASE® consultation & technical support from Common Good Learning Tools, and more.
