CASE® + Google Classroom

At ISTE 2025, Google announced that educators will be able to connect the state standards and competencies to learning goals via Google Classroom:

  • Google Classroom’s integration of CASE® frameworks makes it easier for educators to align specific skills and competencies to assignments, roll up their data connected to skills, and give learners feedback about their progress.

  • In a panel presentation, states and districts discussed how making their standards and competencies available digitally has changed the conversation from grading to learning.

How can I get more standards, skills, and competencies into Google Classroom?

1EdTech™, Google, Common Good Learning Tools, and many other EdTech #CASEChampions are on a mission, to inspire the remaining 29 states (and any other issuers or authors of frameworks) to become CASE® publishers themselves!

  • If you work within a state agency and want to explore your CASE® publishing options to make your standards and competencies interoperable, visit our Satchel page.

  • If you’re a district that might be able to take the leap of becoming a CASE® publisher on behalf of your state, connect with us about how other districts have helped lead the way as shown on CASE Network for Illinois (with the leadership of Chicago Public Schools) and Virginia (with the support of Prince William County Public Schools).

  • If you need other frameworks of skills, outcomes, standards, or competencies in any of the edtech tools you use, email us at contact@commongoodlt.com to discuss how we can partner to make that happen.

  • To find any certified CASE® publisher reach out to 1EdTech™ for guidance and read 1EdTech’s CASE expansion announcement here for more details.
