You can be a CASE® Champion
Taking a PDF document, website text, or spreadsheet version of officially sanctioned standards or competencies and converting them to an interoperable format (called CASE®) that products, platforms, and curriculum providers can use, takes a special kind of leader. The leader needs to come from an issuing agency of standards, which is typically your state (or ministry of education) or your school district. When the issuing agency becomes a CASE publisher, the converted documents are officially recognized by the ecosystem as the authorized, source-of-truth representation of the originally authored standards or competencies.
If you ARE this special kind of leader, awesome! Jump over to our CASE publishing page to learn about next steps!
If you are NOT this leader, you still may have a special part to play in being a CASE champion by advocating, elevating the impact, and resourcing leaders with options.
Advocate for CASE®
When issuing agencies become CASE publishers, they make standards available once, centrally, in CASE format so that every LMS, SIS, and curriculum tool already in use by your organization can import them correctly, automatically, and get updates (if needed).
Elevate the reasons WHY!
✔️ Standards match consistently across your tools, reports, and feedback for your learners
✔️ Less searching - your standards and outcomes will match a format you’re already familiar with
✔️ Real progress tracking, AI suggestions, and grading against actual standards
✔️ One update at the source reaches every platform, no more versioning or source-of-truth problems
Be the bridge to resources and connections
We are a public benefit corporation, on a mission to make CASE® data freely accessible to everyone via our Satchel Rosetta Exchange website. This website reflects all the data from the open CASE servers hosted by issuing agencies and converted documents where we serve as the CASE publisher until an issuing agency wants to take on the responsibility. Any leader can reach out directly to these CASE publishers to get the real scoop on a path forward (visit the green tiles for direct access).
